Student art show: Submissions open now

In conjunction with a NASA Science talk by Chief Scientist Dr. Jim Green to be held at Blink in the fall of 2020, we are hosting a gallery show featuring artwork by students of any grade, where the art has been inspired in some way by science.

All artwork submitted will be included on display in the Blink Art Gallery, located in the waterfront area of downtown Seattle.

Dr. Jim Green will select the top 5 submissions, and hand out awards at the gallery event in the Fall.

Submission requirements:

  1. Artwork may be any shape, size, or medium.
  2. Artwork can be mailed or dropped off at the Blink Seattle Studio until August 31. Please email or call and leave a message at 206-447-9551 (we will call you back) to make arrangements for your delivery or drop off.
  3. Please include the artist name, grade, and a description of how the art was inspired by science (50-200 words.)
  4. Art needs to be available to be on display at the Blink art gallery until the Fall of 2020. All artwork will be returned after the show is over.

All artists and their families are encouraged (but not required) to attend the gallery event and science talk in the Fall, with exact date TBD. Please sign up and find out more information on the NASA science event page.

For any questions regarding the art show, please call and leave a message at the Blink main office at 206.447.9551 or email: [email protected].
