Front-end Development

Front-end web development is the production of HTML, CSS, and Javascript for browser-based experiences such as websites and web applications.

Blink offers front-end development services to transform beautiful design mockups into fast, secure, and accessible web experiences. Whenever possible, our UX Engineers (that’s what we call our front-end developers) work hand-in-hand with our designers to solve problems and make decisions. We believe this close collaboration results in a better product and creates a significant savings of time and effort.

Front-end developers at Blink live and breathe front-end. They stay current on the latest specs and features the browser has to offer. Every person on our team has an appreciation for design and great attention to detail.

We use an agile-inspired process that includes the creation of a backlog, sprint planning and demos, and standup as frequently as needed. This keeps our process lean so we can focus on producing results rather than reporting status. Our progress is tracked in real-time because we use Github instead of Trello.

When it’s time to deploy, our team works directly with your team to integrate our code base into yours. We have experience working with developers on a wide variety of technology stacks and software platforms.

We have helped our clients integrate our code into platforms running on Apache, NGINX, IIS, .NET, J2EE (Tomcat/JBoss), Ruby, Node / Express, and Django. We have delivered HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript utilizing Angular.js, React.js, Backbone.js, Require.js, three.js, d3.js, vue.js,jQuery, Bootstrap, SASS, LESS and many other popular libraries. If your project requires a CMS then we tend to recommend Contentful, Craft, WordPress, or Sitecore.
